Bruce Martin

"Bucko" is a left-arm spinner who is something of a veteran on the domestic circuit. He has played first-class cricket for over a decade now, starting his career with the Northern Knights in the 1999/00 season, after very promising Under-19 campaigns for New Zealand.

In 2009/10 Bruce transferred to Auckland and joined the Aces. After 13 years of first-class cricket, he finally moved to the next level, being selected in the New Zealand Test team to take on England in the home series in 2012/13.

Martin can offer some stiff resistance down the order when required. He has notched up two first-class hundreds.

A great Kiwi battler.
