Craig has recently decided to step down as captain of the Otago Volts, a job he had done since 2002.

In recent seasons Craig has passed the legendary Bert Sutcliffe on the most First Class centuries for Otago ladder. A solid 2011-12 season will also see him move past Bert and into top spot on total First Class runs for Otago.

Craig opens the batting in first class cricket, however he has made a seamless move to the middle order in recent times in the limited overs versions of the game.

Craig is an excellent fielder and useful change bowler. A natural leader within the group who was recently named in the Otago Daily Times Otago Best ever XI.
