New Zealand Cricket announced that Jacob Oram has been ruled out of today’s Super 8 match against England in Pallekele.

Oram displayed symptoms consistent with gastro-enteritis and his condition quickly deteriorated after arriving at the ground.

He has returned to the team hotel and will be replaced in the starting eleven by Doug Bracewell.
