BLACKCAPS asked to field first in warm-up match

South Africa have won the toss and elected to bat in the ICC World Twenty20 warm-up match against the BLACKCAPS at Colts Cricket Club Ground, Colombo.

The match was originally scheduled to get underway at 9.30am (local time) but the umpires delayed the start due to a wet pitch.
A few New Zealand players are feeling the effects of a stomach bug that is going through the team, including Tim Southee and Daniel Vettori who haven’t come to the ground today.

Brendon McCullum will bat but BJ Watling with be the wicket-keeper.  McCullum is still recovering from a right elbow injury sustained in the collision with Kyle Mills during the recent Twenty20 International against India in Chennai.

A summary of ICC playing conditions for warm-up matches has been attached.
