A unbroken 151-run stand between Rebecca Rolls and Ingrid Cronin-Knight helped State Auckland Hearts to an eight-wicket defeat of State Otago Sparks at Carisbrook.

White Ferns wicketkeeper Rolls made 80 and Cronin-Knight 52 as the Hearts passed Otago’s 153 with a ball to spare in the 32nd over.

Earlier, Sandee Hui had taken four for 14 off 7.1 overs as the Sparks were dismissed, with 8.5 overs to spare.
