Katey Martin led State Otago Sparks to a clean sweep of their double header against State Northern Spirit at Mt Maunganui.
Wicketkeeper Martin claimed two stumpings as the home team was limited to 146 all out at Blake Park before her unbeaten 49 sealed victory with 13.3 overs to spare.
The Sparks seemed on course to dismiss ND under hundred, having them nine down for 94 with 12 overs to claim the last batsman.
However, a 52-run stand between Holly Huddleston (26 not out) and Melissa Taylor boosted their team’s total.
Otago player-coach Clare Taylor eventually removed Taylor for 19 with the penultimate ball of the over, the former England international’s third wicket of the match.
Martin then guided her side home with a 51-ball innings, to ensure a four-wicket victory and a second win in as many days.
