In line with our vision, we are seeking candidates for this vital game and coach development role to be based at the Canterbury Cricket headquarters and reporting to the Director of Amateur Cricket.
This is a role with the responsibility to deliver all aspects of the organisation’s development programme including coach education and support, game strategies at the amateur level and the organisation and support of Canterbury representative coaches. The Development Manager will also have hands on responsibility for coaching Canterbury age group teams and manage key game development relationships for Canterbury Cricket. An exceptionally close relationship exists with our five district associations and this role will assist these associations to achieve their respective development goals.
The result will be the development and implementation of an outstanding Canterbury wide development strategy that creates a culture of outstanding customer service and experience.
In order to fulfill the vision and responsibilities of this role, candidates will preferably possess the following attributes and experience.
§ Knowledge of and a proven track record in game and coach development within the New Zealand Cricket environment
§ Current NZC level 3 coaching qualification or overseas equivalent
It is anticipated that the successful applicant will commence work in early February 2013.
