Michael Papps and Johann Myburgh scored centuries in an unbroken stand of 254 to seal an outright win for Canterbury Wizards over Central Stags at Napier.
Myburgh made 148, his highest score since joining the Wizards last year, and Papps his top score of the campaign with 134 in a nine-wicket win.
The hosts had set Canterbury 343 to win after their morning declaration.
Greg Hay struck his third century of season, 127, as the CD scored 347 for six in their second innings and declared, hoping to dismiss the visitors.
But Papps and Myburgh stayed firm, breaking the Canterbury record partnership for the second wicket en route to victory.
