Anna Smith continued her good form to help State Wellington Blaze complete a six-wicket win over State Northern Spirit.
Smith followed her century against the same opposition with 92, which was backed by Amanda Green’s four-wicket haul to earn back-to-back victories.
The visitors made 228 for eight from their 50 overs, and the total proved competitive, as the target was only surpassed in the final over.
The bulk of the runs came from a 115-run partnership between Smith and ex-White Ferns captain Maia Lewis (65 not out).
Northern’s innings started well, with Tamara Gould, Janice Fraser and Emily Drumm all getting respectable scores.
However, they lost their last seven wickets for 80 runs from a strong position of 148-3, with only Nicola Browne (50) providing resistance.
