Half-centuries by Tim Moir and Sam Moster helped leaders Canterbury to maintain their lead after the first round of one-day matches at the National Under-19 Tournament at Lincoln.
The table-toppers overcame Central Districts by seven wickets with four balls remaining after a strong showing by their top order.
CD batted first after winning the toss and scored 190/8 with wicketkeeper/captain Bryce Grant top scoring with 43.
Auckland are in second place after their third round triumphs.
Auckland overhauled Otago’s 217 at Lincoln Green with five wickets and 10 balls in hand.
Otago openers Hamish Rutherford (43) and Campbell Clark (41) put on 89 for the first wicket, and Greg Dawson top scored with 54 not out.
Chasing 218 to win, Auckland started positively putting on 72 for the first wicket between Jeet Raval and Jack Dowd.
Captain Andrew de Boorder led the team to victory with an unbeaten 61, and had a partnership of 55 for the fourth wicket with Brad Cachopa.
Northern Districts claimed a 74-run win over Wellington at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval after Andrew Sclater’s 82 not out helped them to 200.
But Wellington lost three quick wickets for only seven runs and were dismissed for 126 in 39 overs.
Five ND bowlers took two wickets each to give them a bonus-point win.
