The New Zealand Emerging Women’s Squad has arrived in Sydney ahead of their upcoming series against Australian youth side, the Shooting Stars.
The first of four One-Day matches to be played at Blacktown Olympic Park Oval gets underway tomorrow, with the tour concluding on November 21.
Auckland Heart’s player Maddy Green will captain the squad of 14, which features four changes from the side which hosted the Shooting Stars earlier this year.
Seven players in the squad have White Ferns experience, including recent ICC Women’s World Twenty20 participants Katie Perkins, Kate Broadmore and Morna Nielsen.
The teams last faced off when the Shooting Stars travelled to New Zealand in March, with the visitors claiming a 3-2 victory.
The matches will be live-scored on http://www.cricket.com.au/.
