Devon Hotel Central Stags overseas player announced for the HRV Twenty20 competition.

The Devon Hotel Central Stags have re-signed Somerset all rounder Peter Trego as their overseas player for the coming HRV Twenty20 competition as well as the opening five rounds of the Plunket Shield.

Trego returns to the Stags for a second season after injury curtailed his involvement last year to just a few games.

“It was bitterly disappointing to get injured last year and miss most of the HRV Twenty20” Trego said from his Somerset home.  “I was really keen to get another opportunity so when the invitation came to come back out to New Zealand I jumped at it”.

“The Stags are a great bunch of guys and I am delighted to get the opportunity to come back again and be part of the team” Trego said.
