Gary Stead, Director of Cricket, is thrilled to have Martin as part of his coaching team. "To have such a respected recent player as Chris with up to date knowledge of the International game working with our elite cricketers in Canterbury is exciting. We are absolutely delighted that Chris can give back to Canterbury, a place where he started his cricket career and we know he has fond memories of. Even though we realise this is only a short term appointment, Chris’s presence and ability to share what professionalism and preparation to succeed at the top level means will be of great value to our players”.
