Central Hinds captain Aimee Watkins hit a superb 43 to guide her team to a comfortable six wicket win over Auckland Hearts at Colin Maiden Park in Auckland.
Auckland only managed 108 after winning the toss and electing to bat with Central reaching 109 for four in 18.4 overs.
Opener Watkins set the platform at the top of the innings whit the rest of the top order failing but the Kate Broadmore and Sonya Thompson sealed the win with 25 not out and 17 not out respectively.
Roseanne Cox was the best of the Heart attack taking two for 19.
Earlier, Auckland struggled after losing regular wickets. Wicketkeeper batsman Victoria Lind managed 31 but the rest of the specialists failed.\
Maneka Singh was outstanding for the Hinds taking three for 19 while Broadmore picked up two for 20.
