Play abandoned in second ODI

Persistent rain has give the umpires no choice but to abandon play in the second one-day international between the BLACKCAPS and India at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, India made it through to 188 for 4 after 28.4 overs before they had to leave the field for the third and final time.

The BLACKCAPS head to third one-day international in Christchurch on Sunday down one – nil in the five match series.
