Cricket’s most prestigious global tournament will return to New Zealand and Australia after 23 years, with 14 nations out to prove they are the best one-day team in the world, between 14 February and 29 March 2015.

New Zealand has 23 tournament matches, including a Quarterfinal in Wellington and a Semifinal in Auckland and will host every team at least once, making this a once in a generation opportunity to see the world’s best going head-to-head in our backyard. The tournament will feature:
- International cricket returning to Christchurch, when the BLACKCAPS take on Sri Lanka in the opening match
- A rematch of the 1992 classic, BLACKCAPS versus co-hosts Australia at Auckland's Eden Park
- The chance for the BLACKCAPS to play quarter and semi finals on home turf
