Education and research is a key focus at the museum and we offer an education service to schools and community groups by prior arrangement. We provide engaging learning experiences planned and delivered in partnership with teachers and group leaders based on the New Zealand curriculum and the diverse needs or requirements of different groups. Pre and post visit support is available for teachers (see Visits to the Museum).
