Collections

The collections have a distinct New Zealand cricket history focus. Objects range from cricket bats and balls, caps, pads, gloves, trophies, programmes, scorecards, fixture lists etc to rare 19th Century cricketana items like jugs, bowls and bisque figures. The museum subscribes to a policy of selective acquisition and relies very substantially on gifts of objects from the public. Gifts are only accepted where they fall within established collection policy.
