Champions League Twenty20 - India 2013

Winning the HRV Cup 2012/13 means the Otago Volts will play in the 2013 Champions League Twenty20 tournament.

Details of the tournament are yet to be released - updates will appear on the Champions League Twenty20 website as they are finalised.

The Auckland Aces played in the fourth edition of cricket’s premier international club competition, held in 2012 in South Africa at Centurion, Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg, from 9-28 October 2012. The event featured a galaxy of international stars, with 14 champion teams from eight countries taking part.

It was the second time South Africa has hosted the tournament, after a successful event in 2010 when Chennai Super Kings defeated the Warriors in the final at Wanderers in Johannesburg. The 2009 and 2011 editions of the tournament were played in India.
