These are inclusive programmes of skills-based fun for children of all abilities, across all primary school levels (Years 1-8).

Superstar Cricket

New Zealand Post Superstar Cricket is an entry level game, best suited to boys and girls from five-12 years old, and designed to help participants learn the basics of cricket in an enjoyable and exciting environment.

Superstarter Skills

New Zealand Post Superstarter Skills is an inclusive programme of skills-based fun for children of all abilities, across all primary school levels (Years 1 – 8).

Cricket Smart

Cricket Smart is an educational programme for primary and intermediate schools. Register your school with the Cricket Smart education programme and you’ll receive a free equipment pack with lesson plans aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum. The resource is designed to support teachers to raise awareness of the sport, using practical and engaging learning opportunities.

Secondary Schools

Super Cricket

Super Cricket is an exciting, modified version of the game created to engage, involved and enthuse year 9-13 students, boys and girls.

University cricket scholarships

Lincoln and Waikato Universities invite students to apply for cricket scholarships, for students undertaking full-time study who are serious about their academic education and their cricket. Students selected for scholarships are those who have shown great promise in both academic and cricketing fields.
